Tony Cocker is a non-Executive Director with a number of companies, having retired from E.ON in July 2017. He is currently Chairman of Affinity Water Ltd (the largest water-only supplier in the UK) and Chairman of Infinis Energy Management Ltd (a leading renewable power generator), and he has been appointed as a non-Executive Director of SSE plc (the FTSE listed energy business).

Tony worked for E.ON SE and Powergen in a number of roles from 1996-2017, including Chairman and CEO of E.ON UK plc, based in Coventry, CEO of E.ON Energy Trading SE, based in Düsseldorf, and MD E.ON UK Energy Wholesale, based in Coventry. Prior to joining Powergen, Tony had worked for Bass Plc and LEK Consulting.

Tony is a Governor and Deputy Chairman of Warwick Independent Schools Foundation. He also served as a Governor previously, from 2005-2008, when he was a member of the King's High and Policy & Strategy Committees. He is married with two children, one daughter who attended King’s High and one son at Warwick School – both started their schooling a Warwick Prep. The family lived in Düsseldorf between 2008 and 2011, where the children attended the International School.

Tony has an MBA from IMD in Lausanne and a BA and D.Phil in Mathematics from Lincoln College, Oxford.
